Our super cool street lights play music, emit public WI-FI, have color changing post top modules, and have internal irrigation for watering hanging baskets. 13 of them have double sided LED digital banners as well.
Digital banners are a more efficient alternative to ordering physical banners and manually hanging them. We can upload images in real time to the digital banners, making it easy to share information or celebrate our high school seniors, veterans, etc. Some of the digital banners we have displayed are shown below.
Internal irrigation saves us time, public works no longer needs to manually water hanging baskets in the spring and summer.
The integrated speakers allow us to schedule music to play when people are exploring downtown. During the winter holiday season we play Christmas music and alternate green and red post top colors which adds to a winter wonderland atmosphere.
Intellistreets, located in Farmington Hills, developed these high tech street lights. Cassopolis is the first community in Michigan to have a fully integrated Intellistreets system.
